The Nogat is the 60-km-long tributary of the Vistula. One of its numerous tributaries. We are interested only in a section of the latter river. Although it is not the most beautiful place in the world, it is worthwhile to come here in proper time with a spinning. ‘Our’ section resembles a channel, with a slow, or even very slow current. The depth is up to 3 meters and the width amounts to 30-40 meters. It’s a typical seasonal fishery. This is no problem, however.
The fishing art means being in the right place at the right time. Our guide will be happy to take you there in fall, winter or early spring. We are mainly interested in one fish type – the perch. See the rest on the photos…
We don’t guarantee that you catch fish, there is no way to do it sometimes… What we do guarantee is that our guides regularly catch fish of your dreams, they know the river and they will do everything to make you feel the weight of the fish running away into the river out of the tip of your angle.
You know perfectly well what we are writing about. The pike may be also your target. This is the water where beautiful fish of this type appear temporarily. If you asked, however, what fish it’s worthwhile to catch at the Nogat, we would tell you that this is the perch…

Arek Mackiewicz. He has been a fisherman nearly all his life. The Zulawy Region and the surrounding channels are a real angling range – both for float anglers and ground anglers but first of all for spinning anglers. With numerous fisheries, they provide perfect conditions not disturbed by too many anglers.
